David Shepherd (Director)
 |
Founder
Director of ATIM. In addition to managing the company, helps
to design and run ATIMs courses. An associate lecturer with
the Open University Business School for over 15 years with
experience covering both online and blended courses up to
MBA level.
An experienced management developer formerly with BT, he
has served 12 years in Local Government (as a Councillor,
chairing major committees of Housing, Social Services and
Personnel). Specialist subjects are appraisal, performance
management, online development. Currently Chair of the Association
for Management Education and Development.
His experience unusually straddles management, IT and training.
Lives in Chingford, on the outskirts of London (UK) within
5 miles of Junction 26 on the M25. Hobbies include travelling
with his partner, playing golf and dinghy sailing. Married
with 4 grown up children.

Emily Salmon (HR Manager)
 |
CIPD
Graduate, manages recruitment and development procedures for
selecting e-convenors.
Ten years of working within the leisure industry, includes
corporate fitness and local Authority leisure provision. HR
experience in both the public and private sectors. Is a Summer
School lecturer for Middlesex University in Personal Effectiveness.
Lives in Loughton, with nine guinea pigs and two cats. Hobbies
include keeping fit by running, teaching fitness classes and
horse riding. |

Ken Giles (e-convenor)
 |
Ken
worked for many years for the Open University Business School
(OUBS) on staff training and the development of multi-media
training materials and also for the School in a number of
European countries. He worked closely with Gilly Salmon on
the development of online conferencing. He is now a freelance
consultant and has moderated a number of courses for ATIMOD.

Val Robertson (e-convenor)
 |
An
associate lecturer with the Open University for 12 years,primilarily
with the Business School but currently with the Openings programme.
Was a participant on one of the first e-moderating courses
and has been part of the team since then.
Started working life as a Nursery Nurse but as the result
of obtaining an Open University degree changed direction to
work as a manager in the voluntary sector, mainly Relate and
the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Lives with husband, two labradors and one cat in an old house
in Somerset which is in the very slow process of being renovated.
Hobbies, apart from house renovation, are visiting the theatre,
reading and travelling. |

Frankie Forsyth BA
 |
Frankie
lives and work in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, is Scottish
by birth and Australian by adoption (since 1988). She has
worked all over Australia and has lived in Tassie since 1994
and loves it. Co-Director of a micro private Registered Training
Organisation, Pelion Consulting Pty Ltd, providing professional
development/facilitation, online and face to face. Frankie
is a dabbler in lots of 'things' online. Her passion is moderation
(or facilitation as it’s known in Aussie), online and
face to face.
She has facilitated teams and/or mentored other team facilitators,
across Australia in a range of environments and for different
purposes. These include organisational change and planning,
staff professional development activities, action learning
and achievement of qualifications. She has worked in private
enterprise (small, medium and large), in a range of local
state and commonwealth government agencies as well as in community
based organisations.
Frankie likes variety (the spice of life!), enjoys learning/experiencing
new concepts, sharing her learning and is very fond of chocolate
and good food! She lives with her husband, daughter and cat
and has a huge garden. |
